AEO PEOPLE’S AWARDS 2025 OPENS FOR ENTRIES

The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) in association with Aztec Event Services and Whitespace, proudly announces the return of the AEO People's Awards – an event dedicated to celebrating the exceptional individuals driving the events industry forward. This year's ceremony will take place on the evening of the 7th of February 2025 at the Business Design Centre.
Now in its third year, the AEO People's Awards continues to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes of the industry. From junior to middle management, professionals across marketing, sales, operations, content, and support functions will be recognised for their invaluable contributions.
Confirmed categories for the 2025 awards include:
- Indomitable Spirit Award
- Newcomer of the Year
- Sustainability Champion of the Year – NEW FOR 2025
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Champion of the Year – NEW FOR 2025
- Support Team Star Player of the Year
- Marketing Executive of the Year
- Marketing Manager of the Year
- Operations Executive of the Year
- Operations Manager of the Year
- Sales Executive of the Year
- Sales Manager of the Year
- Content Executive of the Year
- Content Manager of the Year
These awards aim to recognise individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, creativity, and leadership in their roles, making a real impact within their organisations.
The deadline for entries is the 25th of October 2024.

The awards are open to nominations from organiser, venue, and supplier communities. AEO, AEV (Association of Event Venues), and ESSA (Event Supplier and Services Association) members can nominate their peers and colleagues at no cost, ensuring the awards remain accessible to professionals across the sector.
