Kevin Bridges revealed as AEO Excellence Awards host
The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) is pleased to reveal Kevin Bridges as the celebrity host for the AEO Excellence Awards, taking place at the Grosvenor House, on Park Lane on the 24th June 2022.
The illustrious event, in association with headline sponsors, Circdata, GES and the NEC, Birmingham, recognises and celebrates the achievements of organisers, venues and suppliers across the industry. It's a day of celebrations which includes entertainment from a celebrity host and live band, and plenty of networking opportunities.
Having started performing stand-up in 2004 shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Kevin Bridges has ascended the ranks and is now regarded as one of the UK's top comedians.
He has made numerous television appearances on shows such as Live at the Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, and fronted his own BBC One series Kevin Bridges - What's the Story and his multiple stand-up specials filmed across his sold-out UK Tours.
He has performed four critically acclaimed, box office record-breaking tours, crowned by Ticketmaster fans as UK's Ticket of the Year in 2018.
Chris Skeith OBE, AEO chief executive says: Critically acclaimed comedian, Kevin is a favourite we're sure will have the audience laughing away, setting the tone for a fun-filled afternoon ahead. We can't wait to see him and the industry out in force for our first in-person AEO Awards since 2019. It's going to be one to remember.
Skeith added: We're also looking forward to seeing some worthy winners take the stage with our host to collect their trophies. We thank everyone who worked tirelessly to meet the entry deadline at such a busy time for the industry. Best of luck!
