Overview

A challenging yet fulfilling role selling across a diverse portfolio, we are looking for an exceptional candidate who is comfortable selling various products to a variety of clients. From established accounts to new leads, we are looking for a committed person to join the team to increase the number of active clients, their average order value, and the number of products that they are using. 

The role will demand both face-to-face meetings and telephone contact. 

The successful candidate will also participate onsite in the company’s exhibitions and awards.

 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities 

  • You will be the face our brands ion the market attending both industry and client events to establish trust in the market 
  • Maintain and develop existing active accounts and build strong relationships with key decision makers 
  • Build the number of customers across the portfolio including growing smaller accounts, dormant accounts and new leads 
  • Canvas customers from new sources, including other publications, exhibitions, social media, online etc. 
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Responsible for hitting personal targets 
  • Build market/client knowledge quickly 

Skills required 

  • Strong communicator 
  • Able to cross-sell effectively a variety of products/solutions over the phone 
  • People oriented, excellent listening skills 
  • Good written skills & PC Literate
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and externally 
  • Good time management and organisational ability 
  • Highly motivated 

Experience required 

  • A proven sales record
  • Minimum of two year media sales experience 
  • You enjoy actively hunting for new business as well as building existing relationships
