Working Pattern: Hybrid

Location: London or Florida or Preston (2 days/week in the office)

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven Internal Communications Manager to build and lead our internal communications function from the ground up. This is a new role, offering an opportunity to create, execute, and refine an internal communications strategy that strengthens company culture and ensures alignment across the global Arc network.

This person will be both a big-picture thinker and a hands-on executor—someone who brings fresh ideas, has a natural ability to engage employees, and thrives on using data to shape and enhance communications.

A key focus will be on leveraging insights and analytics to develop targeted messaging and ensure leadership and employees are equipped with the right information in alignment with our growth strategy. We are looking for someone who is comfortable across a range of digital tools and tactics and keen on analysing campaign results for continuous improvement.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for elements of employer brand communications, our group website, brand assets, and select PR activities.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and execute a strategic internal communications plan that supports Arc’s business objectives and fosters an engaged workforce.
  • Develop and deliver engaging internal campaigns and content across multiple channels (e.g., Teams, emails, Town Halls, video).
  • Leverage digital marketing tactics (e.g., SEO, paid media, content marketing, and social media strategies) as well as data-led feedback loops to amplify internal communications and increase employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to plan and develop meaningful engagement opportunities, including Town Halls, leadership meetings, and other company-wide forums
  • Own and manage the data behind internal communications, ensuring messages are data-informed and strategically aligned with business priorities.
  • Shape and enhance our employer brand presence, overseeing content for Arc’s website and social platforms.
  • Develop Arc’s brand and visual identity, ensuring consistency in internal and external messaging.
  • Support limited PR activities, including speechwriting, press releases, and media responses.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • 4-6 years of experience in communications, ideally in a global environment with a data-driven approach.
  • A strong mix of strategic and hands-on execution skills—someone who can both shape the vision and deliver the work
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to drive engagement and measure success
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging content.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools to optimise content delivery and engagement across platforms.
  • Confident relationship builder with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Light design and video skills are a plus.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

As well as working with talented and passionate colleagues, we foster a culture of recognition and growth. We provide tailored support to help you thrive, including professional development opportunities and a balanced approach to work and life.

Our benefits include:

  • Comprehensive training and career development support
  • Hybrid working (minimum of 2 days in the office weekly)
  • Pension scheme with up to 6% employer contribution
  • Life Assurance scheme offering 4x annual salary coverage
  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing to 27 days after 2 years, plus your birthday off
  • Enhanced company sick pay, maternity, and paternity pay
  • Eyecare vouchers for regular free eye tests
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering 24/7 support
  • Wellbeing Centre with resources for a happier, healthier life
  • Employee Recognition Scheme, including Employee of the Month
  • Long Service Awards at milestones from 5 to 40 years
  • Generous Employee Discount Scheme through imsaving
  • Referral Scheme for introducing new talent
