Marketing Executive

Montgomery Events, part of Montgomery Group, are seeking a dynamic and motivated marketing professional to support campaign delivery for launch event Hospitality Tech360 and The Pub Show, both of which are part of the Food, Drink & Hospitality division.

As a Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the Senior Marketing Executive and the wider event team to deliver engaging, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive exhibitor and visitor attendance. These exciting events, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, offer a unique opportunity to promote innovation in hospitality - from cutting-edge technology at Hospitality Tech360 to the vibrant culture and business of pubs at The Pub Show - making this a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

The role involves end-to-end campaign delivery – developing creative assets, managing partnerships, and coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and high-impact marketing presence. You will be responsible for upholding brand standards, meeting strict deadlines, and contributing to campaign strategy to ensure maximum ROI for exhibitors and an exceptional experience for visitors.

While the primary focus will be on Hospitality Tech360 and The Pub Show, you may also support other events in the portfolio depending on business needs.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in marketing, ideally within exhibitions, events, or a related industry.
  • A solid understanding of multi-channel campaign delivery, including digital, email, social, print, and partnerships.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Highly creative with the ability to contribute fresh ideas and execute campaigns with precision and flair.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, finance, PR) and external agencies.
  • Comfortable attending client meetings, networking events, and exhibitions both in the UK and overseas.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience in delivering full-funnel marketing campaigns, with strong knowledge of the full marketing mix.
  • Skilled in copywriting, proofreading, and content creation across various platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of CMS systems and email marketing platforms.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO and PPC.
  • Ability to manage and update trackers and campaign documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competent in creating branded templates and presentations for internal and external use.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to maintain relationships with associations, media, and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and produce results within budget.
  • Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The central London, dog friendly offices are close to Oxford Street & Marylebone High Street with private access to Manchester Square Gardens. Hybrid working is offered to all applicants with a minimum of at least 4 days in the office, Monday to Thursday. Core hours are 9-5pm, flexibility outside these hours will be required to suit the needs of the business.​
