The Opportunity:

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced marketer to be part of an exciting launch in Clarion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of cross-channel marketing campaigns for our award-winning products.

This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious team with an ethos on building success through collaboration with each other and with customers.  The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the strategic planning and delivery of cross-channel marketing campaigns.

The ideal addition to the team is a strategic thinker and an experienced marketing expert who has a proven track record of planning and executing year-round event marketing that delivers growth for B2B events. The ideal candidate must be able to juggle multiple projects, be able to interpret data to make recommendations, and be able to demonstrate an ability to make strategic business decisions.

We dream big and the right person for this role does too. We are looking for someone with the know-how to manage their role as the campaign evolves. They can focus on the “big picture” aspirations when developing the campaign plans but are also able to balance this with doing the day-to-day basics, excellently.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Execution

  • Developing a strong understanding of our products, customer, and competitive landscape and coherently translating these into effective strategies alongside the Marketing Director.
  • Working with the Marketing Director to develop and implement a comprehensive year-round multi-channel marketing strategy connecting our customers’ needs and commercial drivers to the creation of an exceptional buying journey to achieve financial goals, increase engagement, and brand equity.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Operations team to use data to create a continuous feedback loop to management on key customer behaviours and engagement trends, making recommendations to the Marketing Director on ways to adapt the marketing strategy.
  • Working with the digital content creator as brand guardian to ensure all promotional materials and campaigns are on brand and message.
  • Continuously evaluating campaign key performance indicators and making recommendations for improvements to campaigns in order optimise campaign results.
  • Accountable for reporting and predictive analysis surrounding yields, run rate, audience breakdown, and retention.
  • Devising, implementing, managing and measuring strategies to drive engagement and conversion rates of event attendees and members, turning prospects into advocates as they progress through the customer value journey.
  • Researching key media partnerships to gain maximum exposure of our products to relevant audiences and to help acquire new data.
  • Using the customer playbook to create persona-based marketing messaging for a range of marketing platforms including websites, social media, emails, and brochures to engage our audience and better align customer needs with our products.
  • Partnering with the Commercial function to develop the activities, behaviours and shared KPIs that will ensure alignment and accountability from all stakeholders.
  • Monitoring budgets, providing accurate and detailed forecasts and feed into the budget setting process.
  • Helping drive online traffic with web-related campaigns (SEO, Google Adwords, PPC).
  • Working alongside the Marketing Operations team to develop a continuous test and learn approach across channels.

Technologies  

  • Working with Marketing Operations team to ensure that marketing technologies are being utilised in full, offering suggestions for improvement when needed.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a track record of planning and executing successful year-round marketing campaigns across multiple marketing channels.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices across email, social media, paid media, websites, and conversational marketing tools.
  • Budget management.
  • Knowledge of the Insurtech market preferred, but not essential.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and flawless copywriting and proofing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate data and draw conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to convey information and ideas clearly and succinctly to key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of translating data and insights into an actionable marketing strategy.
  • Solid understanding of the digital media landscape.
