The Sales Executive Role:

You will be building and maintaining relationships, driving revenues and you'll become a champion of the education and healthcare industries.

You will be a sharp, 'fearless', self-starter - motivated by individual targets and a team player to achieve overall targets.

You must have persistence and resilience and above all a strong work ethic.

The role is 80% telephone based and you will be expected to achieve a minimum of 70 minutes outbound client calls with a high focus on new business generation. When you are not selling space and sponsorship over the phone you will be canvassing new business at competitor events and of course being onsite for the duration of the events you work on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling exhibition stand space & sponsorship opportunities
  • Managing and upselling existing accounts
  • Lead sourcing new business opportunities
  • Working onsite at events which will involve face to face selling
  • Be comfortable with phone selling
  • Using the CRM system effectively for sales, pipeline and activity level
  • Work with Sales Team to achieve targets
  • Quote stand prices, negotiate and close sales
  • Follow up with exhibitors to assure satisfaction and respond to queries
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities as reasonably requested

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of one years’ experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Big picture thinking, adaptability, and resilience are key attributes of your character
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations and handle rejection
  • Meeting effective high call targets
