What Else Events Ltd, the award-winning scale-up events business, is committed to delivering truly accessible, affordable and sustainable events.

Due to the continued expansion of the business, we are seeking a Sales Executive to join the team.

On top of our existing successful B2B event portfolios , our mission is to launch several events in three to four markets over the next few years and this is an exciting opportunity for an engaged individual to join at the beginning and be a part of the company growth.

The role is based in our central Redhill offices a minimum of 4 days per week, with opportunity for hybrid working after probation (1 day per week). In addition, you will attend the company events, 3-4 times per year.

As a Sales Executive you will be working with prequalified data and supplied inbound leads, pitching the events to relevant companies that work within the given event sector. In turn, you will arrange and book video meeting appointments for the Event Managers & Directors.

Working towards achievable weekly and monthly targets, you will be happy working in an outbound telephone sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitch event portfolios to potential exhibitors
  • Achieve booked meeting targets
  • Ensure agreed outbound call levels / call time is met a weekly/monthly basis
  • Ensure the CRM is accurately maintained at all times including customer information, call notes, as well as pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Working alongside the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring you maximise business opportunities

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Solid experience working within an outbound telephone sales role
  • Work to targets and achieve KPI’s 50 calls / 90mins of active call time per day
  • Thrives in a fast paced and ambitious environment
  • Ability to travel to events 3-4 times per year
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Personable, friendly with ability to establish quick rapport
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, driven and hungry
