NEC Managed Events wins four-way pitch to deliver central stage at Carole Nash Motorcycle Live
The NEC's in-house organising team has roared into action, having beaten strong competition to secure the contract to design and manage the key performance area at this year's Carole Nash Motorcycle Live.
One of the most widely anticipated events in the motorcycle calendar, Carole Nash Motorcycle Live runs from 27 November to 5 December and brings together more than 37 leading manufacturers to create a one-stop destination for all motorbike enthusiasts.
The Black Horse Stage, within the Arai Entertainment Zone , will be at the centre of the action and will provide a place for visitors to meet with their friends, relax and enjoy the entertainment throughout the packed programme of live events that includes quiz shows, competitions and opportunities to chat with racers and biking personalities. On the last day, the stage will also play host to a huge charity auction for Riders for Health.
Managed Events partnered with contractors Stage Electrics to design the stage set and AV and will be on-site to manage the project throughout the exhibition.
Emily Sweeney, Business Development Manager, NEC Managed Events, said: “This is a really exciting project for us and is another great example of the dynamic flexibility that we can create when meeting the needs of our clients and customers.
“Because of the diverse programme of entertainment hosted on the stage, the team knew that they would need to really pull out all the stops to create a truly flexible set, from stage to AV rig and they've certainly outdone themselves in terms of the design.
“I'm positive that our experience and broad understanding of the exhibition industry will be instrumental in ensuring that the programme of activity is well managed and I look forward to seeing the stage in action.â€'
Finlay McAllan, MCI Exhibitions, said: “This stage forms the real centre-point of the event and so for us it is imperative that it provides somewhere for our visitors to relax and take a break from the vast array of bikes and features on display. Managed Events provided a truly outstanding pitch that just blew us away and I'm positive that they will provide us with the outstanding experience that we have come to expect from The NEC.â€'
